Another old hotel, similar in amenities to the Castle and Ball. There is a modern annexe across the street (less atmosphere). Again, it is best to phone for prices as it varies between mid-week and weekend.

Detached modern house on edge of village, fifteen minutes north of us. Excellent pub a few minutes walk down the road. Sarah and Dick are close friends and very interested in dollshouses.
5. Fred and Brenda Trowbridge. Well Cottage, Honeystreet, Woodborough, Nr Pewsey. 01672 851577. Bedrooms: 1 double with ensuite bathroom, 1 double and 1 twin, each with ensuite shower. £28 to £50 per night. Single accommodation sometimes possible. Colour TV in every room.
Cottage in the Pewsey Vale, ten minutes south of us. Several pubs but not within walking distance.
