Sue’s skills were learnt from Rik Pierce, the American superstar of Creative Paper Clay. This amazing product can be made into bricks, stones—just about anything.

Her first project here will be a wonderful courtyard garden, backed by a timbered cottage with glowing fire behind a window. The box is solidly constructed with walls and base of 1/4" plywood, clad with the paper clay. The whole assembly slides into an outer box of MDF, and this will be supplied ready made.. You can choose how to finish the frame, possibly distressing it like the beams inside the box.

This scene can be made in 1/12th or 1/24th scale, and Sue will lend you all the specialist tools which you are welcome to buy at the end of the course.
