On my own General Courses you can decorate and electrify your house, make a Christmas or nursery room box, assemble kits, or make furniture from scratch. Ive had many years of experience as maker, writer and teacher, and with classes limited to just six students, you will make lots of progress in the three days.
David Hurley's superlative carved and polished furniture is sought by collectors worldwide. Even complete beginners can learn his techniques for cutting, shaping and carving wood as well as applying hinges and final finishing. Philippa Todd's miniature food is made of polymer clay and ranges from sushi and spaghetti to a Tudor banquet. On her courses she includes many different techniques and products so that both newcomers and experienced modellers will find something of interest.
Sue Simpson makes wonderful indoor and outdoor room settings with paper clay, and you can choose either 1/12th or 1/24th scale for your project.
